Paper words, multi colored words / Parole di carta, parole multicolore
As kites in a sky without importance / Come aquiloni in un cielo senza importanza
Words in white, words in black / Parole in bianco, parole in nero
Like in a soundless movie / Come in un film senza sonoro
Crystal-ware words / Parole di cristallo
Sweet words and salty ones / Parole dolci e anche salate.
Lacerated words and chewed ones / Parole lacerate, parole masticate
Street stall words / Parole da bancarella
Words drying in the sun / Parole stese al sole
As a saturated bathroom with her sweat / Come l’accappatoio saturo del suo sudore
Words into the wind with no bashfulness / Parole al vento senza pudore
Mute words with no value / Parole mute, senza valore
Words with too many “if” with no flavor / Parole con troppi “se” senza sapore
Words as arrows aimed at numbness / Parole come frecce verso il torpore
Words that come out without sound / Parole che vengon fuori senza rumore
Words that die within a great roar / Parole che muoion dentro con gran fragore
